This beautiful, recently renovated hotel is located in the town centre, close to Locarno’s old town with the famous Piazza Grande and Lake Maggiore with its lakeside promenade. The railway and bus station, all public transports and the shopping area of Locarno can be reached in a pleasant walk. The hotel’s central location makes it the ideal base for many varied excursions to cultural and culinary gems and to nature-lover’s highlights. The interiors offer a bright atmosphere and are tastefully and warmly furnished. The reception area, hall, bar and breakfast room are situated on the ground floor. There are a total of 34 rooms distributed across 5 floors, with an additional conference room for a maximum of 10 people and a bicycle storage room located on the first floor.
In the heart of the city, at the entry of the famous Piazza Grande, only 5 minutes on foot from the hotel, you will find our Ristorante-Pizzeria Svizzero, our Bar-Paninoteca “Al Böcc” (sandwich bar) and our Gelateria Nostrana (ice-cream shop). At the Ristorante-Pizzeria Svizzero we serve Italian and international specialities, cold dishes, salads, fresh home-made pasta, wood-fired pizza and home-style desserts. In addition, from Monday to Friday you can choose between 4 lunch specials that also include, if consumed on the first floor, a dessert or a coffee. At the Bar-Paninoteca “Al Böcc” you can enjoy our famous sandwiches served hot or cold, 13 different spaghetti dishes and much more. At the Gelateria Nostrana, 42 flavours of home-made ice cream await you.
